What Was Women Build 2026?

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Salt Lake’s Women Build initiative brought together passionate volunteers, local leaders, and community partners for an inspiring week in Tooele, Utah. Designed to foster a supportive and collaborative construction space, the event united individuals of all backgrounds to help single mothers secure strong, stable, and permanent homeownership.

What We Accomplished This Year

Thanks to incredible community hustle, we successfully pushed four homes in Tooele to the "nearly complete" finish line! During our main build week, volunteers and corporate partners focused heavily on exterior completion and vital landscaping work across three homes, with a fourth held for a future milestone event.

Our hardworking teams tackled crucial outdoor projects to ready the properties for families to move in, including:

• Trenching for professional sprinkler lines
• Laying precise landscape edging and pathways
• Preparing the groundwork for upcoming sod and plant installations

We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible participating partners—including Adobe, America First Credit Union, Bamboo HR, Presidio Real Estate, Sunshine Baking Co., Tanner Glass & Hardware, Professional Women in Building, Living Home Construction, Womens Leadership Institute / Sego Leadership, as well as Governor Spencer Cox and First Lady Abby Cox—for helping four deserving families finish the homes they've earned.
